GReeeeN's new song, "Haruka", is the theme song for the upcoming film "Rookies", which will be released May 30th in theaters. The single comes out May 27th.
The song is said to encompass the feelings of parents. "We want people to listen as a family, and enjoy together," said the band.
For three special family holidays, limited edition versions of the song will be available for download from mobile websites: first on children's day (May 5th), then on Mother's Day (May 10th), and Father's Day (June 21st), each with a title to match the holiday.
GReeeeN, who has been taking a bit of a break recently, offered a gift to their fans on "Midori no Hi" here in Japan, or "Green Day"/ "GReeeeN Day": a free download of their song "Ai Uta" on May 4th.
